CAUSE LIFE'S LIKE THIS: 27-29 may '11. ♥

HEY PEEPS! prefect camp.
it was SO AMAZING MAN.
didn't expect so much out of it but, YES IT WAS AWESOME. :)))

nur lembah pangsun, hulu langat.
i is very lazy to talk so much about it, as i have 2 other camps to blog about, but i'll still do ONE WHOLE POST okay? :))

Lodging
we stayed in tents for 3 days 2 nights, 3 people a tent.
me sharing tent with ELISA and NIRMALA. :))
and i didn't even realize until someone pointed it out, WE SO 1 MALAYSIA! :D
HAHA.

it was pretty awesome to sleep in, and on the first night i actually left the tent zip open while sleeping next to it coz i thought it was gonna be hot and stuffy.
MANATAU
at 4am it started FREEZING and i had to zip everything up.
LOL. my stupidity FTW. :)

the very SAD thing about it is, on the 2nd day, when we were out doing the "survival test", it rained like SUPER HEAVY.
and everyone was like "OH, MY TOWELS AND SHIRTS AND ETC. ETC. ETC. IS HANGING OUTSIDE!!!!"
while me, elisa n nirmala were like 'oh, we zipped everything up, and nothing is hanging outside, YAY. :)"

WHEN WE GOT BACK, everything inside the tent was wet. WHY? because the weight from other people's towels and clothes weighed down the huge ponco above the tents and so QIAO our tent's fly sheet got ripped off and the fibre in the tent frame broke.

MEANING, there was a hole, and rain water was going in. -.-
yes, that means all my clothes, towels, EVERYTHING were wet.
yes, that meant i could not change or shower after coming back from the tiring survival test.

fortunately elisa brought half her clothes and stuff with her in her backpack to survival test so hers was dry.
whereas nirmala's stuff were put at the MOST INSIDE of the tent, therefore NOT GETTING WET.
ah, i could live. wore wet clothes the third day and shivered like crazy, but i was fine. :)

Food
The first meal we had was pretty awesome, oily fried rice and egg, but that's about it. the meals after that were tasteless and disgusting. even the chicken i cooked in survival test tasted better than their cooking.

Survival test cooking: We were given ONE parang. For everything we needed to do, including chopping wood, chopping chicken etc. etc. Quoting Neville "I came to this camp thinking it has nothing to do with scouts, but actually it has everything to do with scouts."

So, yes, we did not bring any knives. after they chopped the chicken and we washed it, we marinated it in kunyit, salt and sugar. NAIS. :3

but the potatoes and sweet potatoes were super tasteless, coz we just wrapped them in foil and threw them into the fire. AHH, lazy to tambah tambah lah. :P

Activites
it are awesome. we played alot of games, did alot of ridiculous things we usually wouldn't do and had tons of fun. Team Teamwork was really awesome! :DDDD

Survival test activities were really cool too: Flying Fox, paintball, some random IQ game which was super hard, and this game where you were strapped to a harness,
hanging above the river,
and your teammates had to pull you back and forth on a rope,
letting you collect a bucket of water from the river and pour it into a bottle.

My hands and legs were damn short, so i epic failed alot of times. x)

Performance Night
It was just pure awesomeness/ epicness.
My group did something we thought was super lame and stupid, and was just going to be plain awkward, but it ended up getting laughter from everyone in the room, LOL! :)
YES, we acted like pokemon.x)
