Singapore Trip 09

Finally, the long, awaited post on the S'pore Trip 09. I took alot of trouble rewinding my brain to remember where we went and when.XD

25.11.2009(Wednesday)
Woke up at 5.15 (really anxious mah...) and got ready for S'pore. Checked my luggage bag, and made sure I packed everything properly. Left the hse at 5.45, and reached school around 6. Saw quite alot of ppl there already, all who looked like..... they were packed for Korea. Huge trolley suitcases and bags all over the place, it felt like I under packed with just a hand-carry bag. Yi Jing and Samantha also brought suitcases, but at least theirs weren't so humongous. Brian brought only his laptop backpack while Shi Hui, You Qun and Xiong Jie were like me, with a hand-carry bag. Whereas ZHI KUAN scared me the most, with his trolley bag, hand-carry bag and an extra sling bag. Woah. Wow. Kablooey. Anyways, we left at about 6.30, where the 6L-ians left us to sit right infront. Oh well... Finally, we were on our way. Throughout the whole journey was music, sleep and chit-chat for us. We stopped at 2 rest-stops before making our way to lunch at JB. At lunch, we sat with the 6J-ians, where the guys were really comfortable with Rudi & Matthew. After lunch, we made our way to the Malaysian customs, where it was practically a breeze getting through. At the S'pore customs, we had to get our luggage bags and all items to get through. Finally, we were in S'pore but my stupid hp hadn't changed to Singtel yet. Our first stop in S'pore was the Science Center. Me, Shi Hui , Xiong and Rudi were "exploring" the SC together when suddenly Mr. Rudi dropped his camera case and we had to go hunting for it. *Sigh* When we finally gave up, we went over to the "Human Body" section. Saw Matthew shocking himself with high voltage on "The Shocker". Muahahahaha. Lol. Sorry...XD Then, Brian came to paksa us to play "jadi-jadi". XD Me, Shi Hui, Zhi Kuan, Brian, Rudi and Matthew. We were running all over the whole section chasing each other until it was time to leave. XD The second stop of the day was "niu che sui" or Cow Car Water, as Zhi Kuan called it. Chicken was so creeped out when we were walking inside the niu che sui looking at the old artifacts and how they lived in "the olden days" because it was so dark inside. When we were done, we were allowed to go out on our own around the mini "bazaar" to buy souvenirs and stuff. Since we were the last group, me, Shi Hui, Yi Jing and Zhi Kuan were left further behind on our own, so when Shi Hui wanted to go to the toilet, we all terpaksa follow her. Zhi Kuan wanted to go, but he was so scared to go into the toilet, he was shivering outside where Yi Jing was standing. XD Then, we went out and looked around and I FINALLY bought that stupid Singapore magnet my sis was raving about. Zhi Kuan belanja-ed me and Yi Jing raspberry ice cream wafers while Shi Hui somehow mysteriously disappeared. We met her again infront of a shop with these toy dogs with Rudi, Matthew, Xiong Jie and Brian. Surprisingly, a few of the guys bought the toy dogs. XD Had dinner at a pretty fancy restaurant then went to our only hotel in S'pore- Value Hotel at Balestier Street. Since our tour guide told us that we couldn't party that night, Shi Hui and Yi Jing visited and told us their stories of getting caught by the hotel manager. XD We had our hotcups and snacks then went to sleep at 11 something.

Yeesh. Woke up this morning, got to school, everyone was busy chatting around. LAST DAY OF SCHOOL, I thought. Yeesh, wei, YEESH!! I forgot to bring my camera!! Lined up, went down to the empty assembly space, lined up according to number of As, then went up to the hall. Collected CASH, yes CASH from the PIBG Chairman. Got RM80, weee!! =) The 7A's got RM120. Yerr.... Jealous....=( Mr. Yip Xue Qian was sitting right infront of me, and he kept putting his money at the back of his chair, and when he wasn't looking I took it, passed it to Zi Shan next to me, who passed it to the 6D kids behind us. =) We passed it back and put it back on his seat, tapped his shoulder and told him what we did. It went 2 rows behind and back and he didn't realize anything. 5 minutes later, he did it again, and we passed the money around and back to him again. XD We did this about 3 times before he finally took the money and put it in his pocket. XD Then, Sean went up and gave his final speech in Lick Hung on the behalf of all the Std6. students. Then, Leon and Qi Cheng got named as " Students of The Year." The rest of the whole day was everyone crying, hugging each other and snapping shots with each other for the last time. I have no idea why, but I just can't cry any tears out.

Stayed back in school, bought hairspray from the shop across school for the first and last time. Ate at Sri Melor for the last time. Bought snow spray from kett star and annoyed people for the last time. Jumped off the 1st floor staircase for the last time. Went up to 6A and sprayed excess hairspray on the announcement boards for the first and last time. Played with the fire extinguisher for the first and last time. Bought porridge at 7/11 for the first and last time. Had so much fun with my friends for the first and last time. Got ignored for the last time. Watched people crying over leaving their friends for the last time. For the last time, before leaving Lick Hung. I have no idea why, but I just can't cry any tears out.

Everyone was so frigg'n scared for the UPSR results, right before it came out, so many people were crying in fear of their results at the 6D staircase. You could also see alot of students in 6K praying really hard, hoping for good results. While I was walking around watching the scenario, it actually seemed a bit as though the world was going to end. We were all wondering why our school took such a long time to count, arrange and calculate the statistics. Finally, when it was time for us to line up and go to the hall to collect our results, so many of us (me not excluded) were screaming at the top of our lungs. 6A had to sit right in front of the hall, waiting for the results to be announced. By that time it was already 11 something, and my relatives were all messaging me why I hadn't smsed my results to them. One of my friends from another school even msged me her results, asking for mine. After sitting through the headmaster announcing the statistics, finally we got our results. And.... I didn't get 7As. Such a disappointment.... Instead, I only got 6. All because of the hua yu li jie.... When I looked around me, there were so many people crying. Most of them were crying in disappointment, where some people were crying in joy (7A students, like Yi Jing.) After school, stayed back and chat with Jia Yi cuz not many people stayed back. At 4 something, Inez,Yeong Sheng and a few 6D guys already arrived. (So early for the xu bie hui) Went back at 4.10, showered and changed, went back to school at about 5.00.

~Night~

When I finally got back to school, there was alot of people there already. Went with Yee Ling to 7/11 to buy Pepsi Twist, then got back to school. Hung around alot, sprayed some snow spray (Hahahz... XD),ran around alot & laughed alot. ^^ At 7.30, finally we got to have our dinner at the car park. We took so many pics!!! When we yum-senged, we were screaming as though the world was gonna end!!! XD I became the "waitress" of my table 03, serving tea, water and ice. (Needless to say, I accidentally spilled water and ice on some of my "customers" XD) Dinner was pretty good, Brian serving all of us. Since Xiong Jie ditched us so many times, we decided to
"poison" his water by adding soya sauce, vinegar, and alot more crap. That ONE time Zhi Kuan decided to abandon us for 5 minutes to take a pic with one of his friends, Zhi Yang did it to his water too. Unfortunately, Zhi Kuan saw Zhi Yang mixing the crap in, so he poured his water away. XD However, Xiong Jie had no idea. We decided to yum seng again when he came back, so that he would drink his water. When he drank his water, we were all staring intently at him, waiting for his reaction. 1,2,3,4,5... and.........NOTHING. He didn't realise anything at all. When we asked him, he said : Taste normal what??! Chong En stupidly took it and "GULP!" *pukes*. When the food came, we were all munching happily cuz the food was not bad.... ^^ Everytime we had leftovers, we played this number game, to decide who had to eat the leftovers. Each person at the table chose something from the plate and put it into "THE BOWL". XD When the bowl had gone one round and gotten full of food, we would start the number game. If it was the time-tables of 4, people who had to say 4, 8, 12, 14, 16, 20, 24 etc. had to stand up while saying the number. If you forgot, or you stood up when you're not suppose to, you had to finish that whole bowl of food. The first person was Hui Jie. Then, I kena. Yi Jing, Wei Sean and Zhi Kuan also got it a few times each. When it was my turn, they threw so much chili and vinegar in, I almost wanted to PUKE!! But the dessert was our favourite-logans, so naturally, there were no leftovers. There wasn't even ENOUGH, actually...XD

~Performance~

We (all of us) went up to the hall late because everyone was taking so much time to eat. We witnessed some awesome performances and some.... not-so-awesome ones. XD There was the Endless Umin ( WTF??), Gee, One & The Same (by 6E), Sorry Remix, Nobody (6I + 6E) and alot more. But what was the best was the COMMENTRY. Boy, were they hilarious. Especially Sean. Gayboy X3000, go all the way!! XD Then, it was time for the karaoke performances. From 10 groups that participated, all the way down to only......ONE. Practically everyone quit. Except for 3 boys who sang Fireflies by Owlcity. (Clau's fave song!!) Then, the HEADMASTER sang. Alot of people were leaving, and me and Yee Ling did the same. Sean told me later that the headmaster couldn't get enough of his own singing. After finishing one song, he would press the button and replay the song, and sing the song over and over. This repeated a few many times until he finally got bored. =P Stayed back in school until 11 then fetched Yee Ling back to her house. (Yes!!! Finally, I know where she lives!!! =p)

Went to church and did a last minute practice before playing. After that, my dad walked me to Sunway Pyramid for lunch at Subway. Met my aunt, mother, and frenz all there. When I went to get Clau from the Lion's head, saw a bunch of popular kids from my school at Starbucks meeting each other. After lunch, went to S&J to buy some cute-but-random stuff. Spent a whole lot of money there. Rushed to the cinema to meet my parents to get the tickets, bought popcorn n drinks and went into cinema 5. Saw a whole bunch of Lick Hung schoolmates there. It was like the whole cinema 5 belonged to lick hung students. ( 6L girls, Rudi, Chi Seng, Kimberly, Alicia Bario, Jovyn, Edward, Jonathan and a whole bunch of other popular kids.) After the really good movie of 2012, fetched Clau back and went home. Walked out to Food Lodge for dinner that night.

Last day that Clau's gonna be here anymore...... She brought her out-of-the-world witch hat and was busy SSsing the whole day. After recess, we were all hugs and... more hugs. We took so many group pics and hugged each other so many times. Before school ended, Shi Hui, Clau, Yi Jing and Hui Jie were crying. Yes. Shi Hui. CRYING. 0.o Hard to imagine right? The only other time I saw her cry was when she was sitting next to me in std2, and she pricked her finger with a stapler. XD Stayed back in school and hung around alot.
